| Littlefield Civil Commitment Public Awareness Event Hope some of our members can attend this event and show support for the families whose loved ones are stuck in this horrible place they call a ‘treatment facility’. Also, a big ‘THANK YOU’ to attorney Ryan Brown who has offered to represent attendees in the event that any problems should arise. We expect no problems but it’s nice to have back-up just in case. See below note from Jennifer: Hey everyone! Just a quick reminder about our “PUBLIC AWARENESS EVENT” on April 9th 2022 at 10:30 am. For anyone coming in the night before, we are booking rooms with a 10% discount at the Best Western Inn in Littlefield. Just tell them you are with “ Operation Freedom”. The total seems to be averaging $120 for one night. They do have free breakfast. I would love to have breakfast with everyone on the morning of the 9th and talk a bit. After breakfast myself and Mandi will be visiting my son and her fiancé at the county jail. Visits starts at 9 and is only 20 minutes. When we get back immediately following the visit we will then drive to our designated spot and set up. Because of everyone reaching out to support us we now have more participants than I ever expected. We also have a professional award winning photographer and film maker, Alan Pogue, coming to take pictures and video our event! Also we have free legal representation for anyone who will be participating. His name is Ryan Brown. He is an attorney out of Amarillo. We are so grateful. I have had t shirts made. I will have a few extra. Please bring a chair. Water and snacks will be provided. We will also have a pamphlet for handing out to anyone who wants to know more. On my previous email I scheduled a “ honk in” when we first arrived. I think it may be better to change that to the end when we are leaving. Once again thank you everyone who has reached out.
